'Lock - components for enchanted gold bloodrobe

One of the penalties of running several alts in parallel is that it is
hard to remember specific quest givers sometimes. This is one of those
times...

My 'lock has the blood and stone and has turned it in. He now needs to
pick up the gold thread. The other parts are easy, but I'll be darned
if I can find where that gold thread is to be picked up...

Apparently (according to Thottbot) he will have a blue '?' over him.
those no longer show on the map, and I have checked "all" (obviously
not, or I woud have found him) vendors.

any coords for a poor lost warlock...?

Was it in Booty Bay by any chance? Long long time since I did that
quest.

Checked Wowhead and yep:

"To get the Fine Gold Thread you have to go talk to your Tailor friend
in Booty Bay, the one who you gave the Gold Bar to earlier in the quest.
He wont have a question mark or exclamation point on his head, but he
still has your Fine Gold Thread if you talk to him."
