Easy gold for Horde

I've been trying to think of something that might be worth more on
Alliance side than on Horde, then I can reduce my 15% loss on the
goblin AH. Also I've heard that there are bots watching the AH and
auto-bidding on low under-priced items so be careful. I deliberately
listed the items for slightly more than I'd paid for them, so that I
would not get burned this way.

In fact, the same quest has you go to Booty Bay.

Copper is needed to make the Deadly Blunderbuss (8 bars), which is needed
for an Ashenvale Horde quest. I can sell the DB for about 5g or up to 20g
if the competition allows it. Hence copper gets bid up a lot. (I'll also
buy copper bolts and tubes when I see them cheap.)

If you're an Alliance engineer at a level to get skill points from the DB,
sell them on the neutral for 5-20g, as lowbie Horde can easily get to Booty
Bay and often don't realize the difference in the different auction houses.

The Arathi bases have faction-only leather recipes, one in Hammerfall and
one in Refuge Point. Each is limited-supply.

Horde have some blacksmith quests in Orgrimmar that yield BoE patterns for
the Barbaric Iron pieces (no set bonus, but nice for their level). Grind a
Horde mule up to get those and sell them across.

Get a Horde to the high 20's and farm the Dalarans in Silverpine for the
Black Tabby pet, which Alliance can't get because they can't kill Dalarans.

Of course, there's all the city pets available to Horde, like snakes,
dragonhawks, cockroach, and prairie dog.

Each Horde starting town has a cooking recipe for sale that's not available
Alliance-side. (The reverse is also true.) Head for Razor Hill, Brill,
Bloodhoof, and Falconwing Square to buy them. (These also sell well to your
own faction, because the lack of a flight point makes them a hassle for
high levels to fetch.)
