I just recently got my alchemy with hardly any difficulties to 350,
but now I seem stuck. I am a 65lvl Demo (re-spec to affliction in a
few levels) warlock, and there are no recipe's available at any
trainers anymore. I searched Shattarath and Honor hold and they are
all empty. I know I can do rep quests for various factions to get more
recipes, but I don't even know where to start. The only rep I have
been gathering in the outlands is the daily quest to take back those
stupid towers. Advice? I can't link to armory here, so the characters
name is Iamyourdaddy (long story) on DrakThul

ok, Thanks for all the suggestions. I am going to have to try spamming
the trade channels with free transmutes then. I know i bought all the
recipes from the bird in Shat and the vendor in trelander. I have 1
flask I can make, but the mats needed are a little crazy right now.

I haven't checked AH yet, but are primal Life useful? I think I have
about 6 of them while tring to get sporegar rep.

The transmute Primal Earth to Water recipe is really good if you don't have
it yet (it's available at Revered/Sporreggar which actually wasn't that
difficult to get). It's orange at 350 and yellow at 365, and gives you a
steady stream of income. The difference between Primal Earth and Primal
Water is 15-20g on my AH on Cenarius.

I have a mage also on Drak'Thul who is at 360 with no faction-specific
recipies (she's lvl 52, so no outlands rep yet). She has a few
recipies purchased from a vendor in Telredor, Zangarmarsh that are
still yellow (super mana pot, I believe is one of them).

Try doing some primal might transmutes...spam trade "Free Primal
Transmute with Mats PST". Should take you to 375 without much pain.
Receipe should be available from "da bird" in Shatrath City.

Yup, check for vendor recipes; my lvl 53 alchemist has no rep-based recipes
for obvious reasons, but I have 375 skill, and a few recipes still
green/yellow. Super mana pot sounds familiar as one of those which I could
level up on.

Try looking at trade vendors in all the other towns. Honor Hold, Allerian
Stronghold, Telaar, Sylvanaar, Wildhammer Stronghold, etc. Most of these
towns will have at least 1 tradeskill recipe for sale.

IIRC, the last points on my Druid's alchemy were done with Major
Dreamless Sleep potions. Vendor purchasable recipe at 350, relatively
cheap to make, and I'm almost positive it stays yellow until 375.
Could be wrong there, but I think it does. I ended up just hoarding
several stacks of them on my banking alt, and just sending a few to my
main as she needed them. I think I still have 2 or 3 left about 6
months later Smile.

This is the first I've ever heard of someone having trouble leveling
alchemy, ever. It's almost effortless, and no rep-based recipes required to
use it. It's almost TOO easy. *

There is almost ALWAYS someone looking for a Primal Might to be made,
and you can make another 5-10g tip on top of getting the point.

Thank you for that informative piece of information, YET, like the
armory I cannot access that site. The domain restrictions on the
military base prevent me from accessing it. But thank you for taking
the time to give such an informative piece of advice.

first time for everything.

after 300 it didnt really seem important. Why rush it and blew wads of
gold in the AH to renew the skill in the early 50's? didnt seem to
make much sense. 90% of the herbs I have gathered have been auctioned
off in the AH anyway.
well being level 52 I don't think you were able to purchase those
recipies in outlands with that toon. Considering I had no one else to
buy it for me, and no one was selling it on the AH, I had to wait till
I can get there myself and buy it.

Mine were done with transmute earth to water which I was doing daily
for a long time for my friend's frozen shadoweave set. (And it seemed
that he bought some from the AH because I've loads left over now -
ready for use by my priest's primal mooncloth set)

I'm pretty sure that's what I sued too.

My mage went from 300 to 375 in the space of an hour, and that includes flying
around Outland looking for Alchemy recipes at vendors. Mind you, I already had
huge piles of appropriate herbs in the bank.
